A speeding truck loaded with iron scrap ruined a police booth near cinema chauraha in Hardoi, lucknow on Saturday night.
According to the information, a speeding truck lost the control and hit the police booth. Constable Manzoor Faruqi, two home guards and a local resident were died in this incident. Truck also crushed two more persons, who were standing over there.
Truck was moving towards Shahjahanpur, and crushed two motorbikes of policemen. The bike and truck caught fire, but driver was continuously driving the truck. The driver escaped form the spot.
Five fire tenders reached at the spot and covered the flames of fire.
The case has been registered against truck driver under relevant sections of IPC. Police is continuously searching the driver.
