35-years-old man committed suicide, as he forced to lick a spit on shoe. The man is identified as Kasim Shaikh, a resident of Cuffe Parade area, south Mumbai.
According to the information, four men captured Kasim in the public market near Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai on Friday night. They started humiliating him and one of the offenders spit on his own shoe and asked Kasim to lick the spit. Somehow, he escaped from there. But the humiliation broken him internally and he committed suicide at his resident by hanging himself on Saturday morning.
Police found a suicide note written by Kasim, in which he had revealed the names of that four offenders and blamed them for his suicide. As per the suicide note, Ismail Shaikh (47), Akbar Shaikh (35), Karia Pavse (35), Afzal Qureshi (44) were arrested by police. The case has been registered under Section 306 (abatement of suicide) of IPC.
