Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: India registered 43,654 covid-19 positive cases and 41,678 people recovered from infection. New cases are below 50,000 on 31st day consecutively and highest in 20 days. With this the total tally of infected person crossed 3.14 crore people.
On Tuesday, 640 succumbed with the covid-19 infection as per the data of health ministry of India.
While more than 44.61 crore vaccinations have been administered across India, according to the July 28 update, with 40,02,358 new vaccination doses administered on Tuesday. Of the total vaccinations administered to date, 78 percent are recipients of their first dose while 22 percent have received the second dose. Among states, Uttar Pradesh administered the most (cumulative) vaccine doses at 4.57 crore, followed by Maharashtra at 4.24 crore and Gujarat at 3.22 crore.
