Kargil (The Stellar News): In Ladakh, LAHDC Kargil felicitated Team Ladakh who came with flying colours by winning one Gold, One Silver and 2 Bronze at National MMA Championship at Mumbai at Conference Hall Baroo Kargil. Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan was the Chief Guest and Deputy Commissioner Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve was the Guest of Honour. While interacting and congratulating the MMA Team Ladakh and Ladakh MMA Association led by Mehdi Nasiri and Syed Raza, Feroz Ahmad Khan assured that LAHDC will reward the players on Republic Day and will help the association and players in future. Feroz Ahmad Khan said that LAHDC Kargil will keep a special provision under Subsidy Head for Promotion and Meeting the expenses of Players for representing at National and International Level and no player will get affected or miss opportunity due to financial constraint.
Deputy Commissioner Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve said that Administration is coming up with two indoor stadiums and in future there will be enough Infrastructures for sports development. Later the Players Gold Medallist Ali Khuddam, Hasnain Silver Medallist, Akbar & Irfan Bronze Medallist along with Coach Mehdi Nasiri were felicitated by LAHDC Kargil. Councillor Poyen Haji Mohammad Amin rewarded the team with Rupees 20,000. General Secretary Ladakh MMA Syed Raza thanked CEC LAHDC Kargil and Deputy Commissioner Kargil for felicitating the Players which has given a ray of hope for Sports in future. On this occasion Executive Councillor Engineer Punchok Tashi, Executive Councillor Syed Abass, Councillor Poyen Mohammad Amin, Councillor Choskore Nasir Munshi, Shabir Kachey, Exen PWD Kacho Mehmood, DYSSO Kargil Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma and representatives of Sports Associations were also present.
