Kargil (The Stellar News): Secretary Tourism UT Ladakh visited Hundemran BrokVillage and inspected the viewpoint at Hundurman and visited the Museum of Memories Unlock Hundurman. He interacted with the villagers and ensured to develop thearea under heritage village.Earlier Councilor Poyen Mohammad Amin welcomed theSecretary at Hunderman Brok and presented traditional Khataks.Mohammad Amin on behalf of the people of HundermanBrok presented a memorandum and said that this visit of a secretary to the villageon new year will bring prosperity and Happiness with various developments andfacilities in terms of promotion of Tourism.Amin demanded for connecting Hunderman with Sharcheythrough Road Connectivity and to make a new Tourism Circuit connecting all historicalvillages around hRgyun Khar which will help in promotion of Tourism in whole DistrictKargil.
He also demanded a full-fledged Package in terms ofChanthang Development Package under BADP for all the Border Villages of Kargilas most of the Border Village including Hunderman Brok is Far behind in termsof Development that is also sustainable Development.Referring the distance of the Village hunderman fromLOC he demanded Actual Line of Control (ALC) Category for Hunderman BrokVillage.Demanded Mobile Tower for Digital Connectivity,Declaration of Heritage Village and a package for the village to restore it toits traditional glory and save it from further damage, requested to build somepublic utility places at View Point Hunderman Brok, at Medical Centre Near to Museumof Memories unlock Hundurman and some other places for a better hygiene of thearea.
Mohammad Ilyas Curator and Owner of Museum of Memoriesunlock Hundurman welcomed the Secretary at the Museum andInformed that Muzzamil Hussain of Roots Ladakh, wasinstrumental in Bringing this Village to limelight and making it one of the Topmost Tourist Destinations of Kargil Ladakh.
He said that The Museum of Memories Hunderman has gotnational and international recognition and guests from all over the world arevisiting it.Mohammad Ilyas presented a memorandum and demanded SolarLighting System for the Museum, Polythene for preventing Leakage of Water fromthe Roof, Funds for Making Shelf for Artifacts and construction of ApproachFootpath from Main road without hampering the natural Heritage of the Area.Mehboob Ali after listening to the demands assured totake up the demands on peririty basis and will try to resolve the issues one byone.
