Ferozepur (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: On Wednesday, BJP has scheduled PM Modi rally to start its election campaign for upcoming assembly elections but due to bad weather and heavy rain, PM Modi cancelled the rally.
There are reports that the convoy of PM Modi was going from Bathinda to husainwala towards the Shaheed Bhagat Singh memorial but some protesting people interrupted, this led to the blockade of PM Modi convoy. sources also said that, the convoy witnessed stoppage for around 15-20 minutes.
Ministry of Home Affairs has sought report from the Punjab DGP and Chief Secretary about the glitch in security of PM Modi as they were responsible for providing security to PM Modi.
In the rally, the whole BJP leadership, Former Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh and other fellow leaders were present in the rally. Huge crowd of party supporters and workers were waiting for the PM to come and address them but the convoy of PM Modi went back to Delhi.
