Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News): GNA Business School at GNA University organized a skilful Guest Lecture on GST and E-Way Bill for the students of Business via the Online Platform Blackboard. The revered resource person for the session was CA PurshotamVohra, a renowned Chartered Accountant and expert in the field of taxation. The main objective behind holding this Guest Lecture was to infuse the knowledge regarding the principles and practices of GST and E-Way Bill and its working into the realistic avenues of the business world.
The Guest Lecture commenced with the welcoming of the resource person by Ms. Neetu Mahendru, Assistant Professor, GNA Business School and then was taken over by the revered guest speaker CA Purshotam Vohra. CA Purshotam Vohra covered different topics extensively stressing mainly upon power to levy tax, problems encountered with the previous tax regime, the GST Structure and Input Tax Credit.
The session was a fruitful one where in students were enthusiastic about the technological world of GST and E-Way Bill and asked many questions from the resource person. At the end, a Vote of Thanks was presented by Ms. Sarbjit Kaur, Assistant Professor, GNA Business School. The lecture concluded on a learning note.
