Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from his post after the Indian National Congress president Sonia Gandhi sought resignation from all five state presidents where congress faced defeat in the Assembly election conducted last month.

Sidhu in a short and simple letter wrote, “Respected madam, I hereby resign as President PP.CC”. Congress has faced defeat in Punjab where it was enjoying power for the last five years, but lost elections from AAP and just won 18 seats out of 117.
Political analysts are taking it as an end of the political carrier of Navjot Sidhu.
