J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Doda Police has apprehended another notorious drug peddler in Bhaderwah and recovered Heroin from his possession by a Police Party of PS Bhaderwah. In a statement, Police said that a Police Party of PS Bhaderwah while on patrolling Naka duty towards PDD Chowk Bhaderwah, noticed suspicions movement of one pedestrian who was apprehended and while conducting checking/frisking of said person, Heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. On enquiry, he was identified as Muzamil Bashir S/O Shabir Ahmed R/O Qilla Mohalla Bhaderwah.In this regard a case FIR No.49/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS act has been registered at PS Bhaderwah and investigation of the case has been started.
The forward/backward links of the drug peddler are being ascertained during investigation to unearth the source of supplier. The arrest and recovery was made by Police Party led by SHO PS Bhaderwah, Inspr. Jatinder Singh Rakwal under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah and Sh. Abdul Gafoor and Addl. SP Bhaderwah, Sh. Mohd Aftab Mir. It is worthwhile to mention here that Doda Police has continued its war against the drug peddling and so far number of drug peddlers including notorious /main suppliers have been booked to eradicate the menace of drug from the society.
