Phagwara (The Stellar News): GNA University held an auspicious moment in organising the visit of the ‘Pistachio Man of California’- Mr. Raj Kahlon at its lushgreen sprawling campus. The objective behind arranging this visit was to make Mr.Kahlon feel connected to his roots. Mr. Raj Kahlon is child of Indian origin settled and established in California. During his motivational talk with the staff of GNA University he said, “Giving back to my community is the biggest achievement of mine.”
The visionary Mr. Raj Kahlon visited GNA University along with his Team. The Pro-Chancellor of the University, S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. VK Rattan and all the Deans of the various faculties greeted him warmly. Dr.DishaKhanna, Dean Students Welfare introduced the stalwart in her Welcome Address and apprised every member of the meeting about the accolades bagged by Mr. Raj Kahlon.
Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics gave a virtual tour of GNA University and shared in detail about the GNA Group and its special efforts in making the community grow in terms of employability. Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor of the University acknowledged the visit of Mr. Raj Kahlon and said, “The brimming young minds of the University needs visionary men like you who can guide the youth in thinking big and trusting in the process.” Mr. Raj Kahlon felt delighted to be a part of the University and took a tour of the various labs in the University and dropped a live message for the University students in thinking out of the box and doing wonders in their life.
