Firozpur (The Stellar News): On dated 05th June 2022 at about 1415 hrs, BSF troops of 116 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector apprehended 01 Pakistan national, while he crossed the border and entered into Indian territory.

During questioning, it came to notice that the apprehended Pak national is a juvenile and he had crossed over to Indian territory inadvertently. Nothing objectionable was recovered from him.
BSF approached Pakistan Rangers on 05th June’ 2022 and lodged protest on the matter. Thereafter, said Pakistan national being inadvertent border crosser handed over to Pak Rangers at about 1957 hrs, on humanitarian grounds.
BSF always takes humane approach while dealing with inadvertent crossers.
