The Stellar news: Finance Minister Arun Jaitely announced many good news for a common man in this Union Budget 2018. His another announcement regarding reduction in excise duty of Petrol and Diesel is a sigh of relief for common people. According to the budget there is a reduction in basic excise duty on branded and unbranded petrol and diesel. The excise duty on unbranded petrol is Rs.6.48 per litre has been reduced to Rs.4.48 per litre. Similarly, branded petrol excise duty has been plummeted to 5.66 per litre from Rs.7.66 per litre. Excise duty of unbranded diesel was reduced to 6.33 per litre and branded diesel excise duty also reduced from Rs. 10.69 litre to Rs. 8.69 litre.
