This incident took place during mobile checking at Pohan. Two vehicles were asked to stop by army workers at check post. Sudden firing was started from inside the car. One terrorist and 3 civilians were killed as a result of return firing by soldiers.
The deceased terrorist is identified as Amir Ahmed Malik, member of Lashkar-e-Tayiba terror group. The other three deceased civilians were residents of Trenz, Pinjoora and Imamsahib areas of Shopian. Weapons have been seized and the investigation is on.
