New Delhi (The Stellar News), Report: Saksham Kalia: Deep Sidhu (Actor) accused for Red Fort violence on 26th January arrested by Delhi police. Police arrested him from Karnal district of Haryana, 100 km away from Delhi. He was hiding from police since violence at red fort.
Deep Sidhu was present at red fort when some protesters hosted Sikh religious flag on central pole of red fort. He came live on his Facebook account on the time when protesters were hosting flag on Red Fort. He was accused for fueling chaos, forcing protesters to change their route towards Red Fort, clashes with Police and disrespecting national flag.
Delhi Police issued arrest warrants for Deep Sidhu and other four accused. 1 Lakh rupee reward was announced for credible informers who give leading information to police about accused. Deep Sidhu was hiding from the date of violation at red fort and was changing his location for hiding from Police.
Farm unions protesting against three contentious Farm laws has already accused Deep Sidhu for defaming their protest and violating law and order at red fort.
Deep Sidhu was continuously posting videos on his social media accounts after red fort incident. He said in his posted video that, “if I am declared as traitor (gaddar) then farm unions leaders are also traitors”. He also accused farm leaders for backtracking on their protest.
Delhi police said videos posted on social media accounts of Deep Sidhu were uploaded by friend of Deep Sidhu from California, USA. Deep Sidhu is produced today in front of court. Delhi Court sent Deep Sidhu to 7 day police custody.
