DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of Flagship schemes in the district

J&K/Rajouri(The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: To review the performance under various schemes being implemented by different departments in the district, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan on Tuesday convened a meeting with the concerned officers here in his office chamber. While reviewing the progress under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the concerned officer apprised that there are 7.50 lacs beneficiaries out of which 2.06743 have been registered and golden cards have been issued to 1.76683 beneficiaries.DDC also inquired about the functioning of the CSCs from the concerned officer who apprised that the CSCs are functional.

DDC directed the concerned officer to make the newly generated IDs of 100 CSCs functional at the earliest to ensure cent per cent saturation of the district under the SEHAT Scheme. About the progress achieved under vaccination drive, it was informed that 4891 health care workers have been given the first dose, 2456 second dose have been administered the second dose and the achievement is 94 per cent. Similarly, the progress regarding the vaccination of the frontline workers and persons above sixty years is 85 per cent and 16.08 per cent respectively besides as many as 95 persons in the district under the age group of 45-59 with Comorbidity have also been vaccinated.

While giving details of the vaccination data, the concerned officer informed that as many as 89780 doses were received in the district out of which 49140 were handed over to the Army, 200 sent to Poonch and a balance of 40440 doses is available with the Health Department. In connection with the progress concerning Aadhaar seeding, the meeting was informed that the Aadhar Seeding under different pension schemes is 75 per cent. Related to MGNREGA, there are 1.57245 beneficiaries under Aadhaar seeding out of which the Aadhaar Seeding of 122590 beneficiaries has been done and the progress in this regard is 77.9 percent. Under Aadhaar Enrolment, the total population of the district is 8.53 lacs out of which the eligible beneficiaries are 794185 and as many as 719116 persons have been enrolled under Adhaar till date. DDC directed the concerned officer to organise special camps to enrol the left out beneficiaries under Adhar. Regarding the progress of works under the Back to Village programme, it was informed that as many as 981 works have been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 3.00 crores and an amount of Rs 9.80 lacs have been sanctioned to each panchayat for the execution of works of different natures.

While reviewing FCS&CA, the concerned officer informed that there are 11699 beneficiaries under NFSA and 58611 under Non-NFSA and the Aadhaar Seeding at Ration Card level is a hundred per cent. While reviewing the progress on Languishing projects, it was informed that there are 77 Languishing projects of the PWD in the Rajouri subdivision out of which the work on projects 26 is complete in all respects and the rest are under different phases of execution. Similarly, the work on 10 languishing projects out of 39 projects of the PWD in the Nowshera subdivision is complete. Regarding the I&FC Department, the work on 09 languishing projects out of 13 is complete. About Jal Jeevan Mission, it was informed that as many as 265 projects have been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 1240 crores.

Regarding the progress achieved under PMAY-Rural, the concerned officer from RDD informed that as many as 34000 houses are to be constructed in the district out of which 31292 have been registered and 30585 stands sanctioned.DDC also took a detailed review of the physical and financial progress on bunkers. Similarly, the DDC also took a detailed stock of all the schemes implemented by different departments in the district and asked them to put in place the best possible efforts to ensure that the work on different developmental projects is completed within the set deadlines and also directed them to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out from availing the benefits of welfare schemes being implemented by their departments in the district for the welfare of the masses.
