J&K/Rajouri, Report: Anil Bharadwaj: Continuing its efforts against manufacturing and sale of illicit liquor, Jammu and Kashmir police here in Rajouri arrested one and recovered illicit liquor in Jungrial village of Teryath.
A police party from PP Teryath led by ASI Bhan Singh was on routine patrolling in Jungrial village area of Teryath when they came across a person who attempted to evade the police party in suspicious circumstances. He was apprehended and on search, around four litres of illicit liquor, meant for sale among locals of the area, was recovered from his possession. The person was identified as Sham Singh, son of Diya Ram, resident of Jangrial.
In relation to this, FIR no. 42 u/s 48(a) of the Excise Act has been registered at PS Dharamsal, accused arrested and investigation initiated.
