Delhi (The Stellar News), Saksham: On Wednesday, Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed everyone that he has tested Covid positive. He urged everyone that who came in contact with him should follow health protocols and undergo covid-19 tests.
Yesterday, India had recorded highest number of covid-19 cases since the start of pandemic. This leads to scarcity in number of beds and oxygen. Especially in capital, Delhi Government urged centre for helping Delhi government in this situation.
Yesterday, India recorded more than 2,95,000 cases and 2023 people lost their lives. This creates an alarming situation in country. Meanwhile centre government is taking appropriate measures for controlling covid-19 cases.
Centre announced that from 1st may everyone above 18 can get covid vaccine. After this SII (Serum institute of india) announced now they will reserve 50% of their production capacity for centre and 50% for states and private. SII also decided to increase the rates of covishield. Now, SII would charge Rs 400/dose to centre and Rs 600 to private hospitals.
Not just Centre Government, state governments are also taking strict decisions for controlling this situation. Various state governments had decided to impose lockdowns or curfews. Hopefully, the situation will be controlled soon.
