IS COVID-19 BIASED? LOCKDOWN IN DELHI AND ELECTIONS IN BENGAL….

Delhi (The Stellar News), Saksham Kalia: From last month ECI (Election commission of India) has conducted elections in various States of Country. ECI had allowed all political parties for organizing political rallies. Instead of raging Covid-19 in country political rallies are on their peak level.

ECI had announced Assembly Election dates for Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry in March. ECI announced multiple rounds of phases for these states.

But Irresponsible Parties has already started election campaigns before February. When there was high rise in corona virus cases. At that time ECI becomes deaf and blind. Officials of ECI didn’t act on this and played role of an audience.

Common people were watching the terrible situation but ECI doesn’t. Thousands of people were participating in political rallies of senior leaders. In these rallies neither leaders nor common public were following health protocols.

ECI (Election Commission of India) have responsibility of maintaining public health on paramount. But Election Commission failed in this and this created a kind of mistrust in people of country.

Still ECI is showing irresponsible behaviour, elections are still undergoing in west Bengal. More than 15,000 cases had registered per day in west Bengal since last week. People are losing their lives.

Various people argued with police officials on this topic, when police fined common public for not following health protocols. They are questioning that, why they are not taking action against any politician? Why people of States where elections are undergoing are not getting infected from covid-19?

On the other hand Delhi is facing lockdown. How’s this possible? A state where people participated in rallies has registered less number of cases than other where less public gathering were organized.

But now happily Madras High Court slammed ECI for their negligence during elections. Madras HC singularly blamed ECI for the outrage of covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

When a person feels partiality he/she definitely raises questions. At that time when politicians were doing rallies and common person were asked to wear mask was unacceptable. Every person has raised these questions. Is covid-19 biased? Is governments are biased? Can we trust data given by government?

Government have to act responsibly, if they want that people become responsible.
