Tributes paid to martyr Aurangzeb on Second death anniversary

J&K/ POONCH (The Stellar News)Anil Bhardwaj: Rich tributes were paid to martyr rifleman Aurangzeb on his Second death anniversary at his native village Salani in Tehsil Mendhar, today. The locals of Mendhar Sub Division along with officers from Army and Civil Administration paid floral tribute to rifleman Aurangzeb at native village Salani in Tehsil Mendhar. Martyr Aurangzeb was abducted and later killed by militants in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, official said, adding that Aurangzeb sustained multiple bullet injuries in a dastardly act wherein he was kidnapped and killed by terrorists in Gasu village of Pulwama when he was on his way to his home to celebrate Eid with his family.

24-year-old Aurangzeb joined the Army in 2012. He is survived by his wife, parents and three brothers, the official informed. The family members of the martyrs Aurangzeb organized a function on his Second death anniversary, wherein hundreds of people paid tributes to the martyr. He was accompanied by locals People’s of the a Salani Village. Sarpanch Khalid Chouhan urged the Government of India as well as Jammu and Kashmir Government to fulfill their promises of making Salani village a modern village on the name of martyr Aurangzeb.
