Char Dham Yatra Suspended by Uttarakhand Government

Uttarakhand (The Stellar News): The Char Dham Yatra is suspended by Uttarakhand Government on Tuesday till further date. Government on Monday had issued a Standard Operating Procedure(SOPs) for the first phase of Char Dham Yatra, in which residents of Chamoli, Rudrapayag  and Uttarkashi districts will be allowed. They will be allowed only on the basis of prior registration and RTPC/TrueNat/RRAT Covid-19 negative test. People of Uttarakhand will be only allowed from July 11 if they carry negative report along with them, Government mentioned strictly in the SOPs.

The stay order has been issued by a bench of Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh and Justice Alok Kumar Verma on Monday while hearing clutch of PIL related to health infrastructure in the state. The Char Dham Yatra for the local residents of Uttarakhand of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi, where these four shrines are located from July 1. The ceremonies carried out in these temples will be streamed live for all the devotees, high court directed to government.
