Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: It’s just two days that the Lakhimpur kheri incident happened where two SUV’s rides on the farmers reached there to show their anger against Government. As they got information that the Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Rakesh Maurya has been reaching for attending an event. But before that a news flashed on news channel that something very cruel happened on the site and 8 people died which later exceeded to 9.
As per farmers, the son of Union minister Ajay Mishra has rides the car over the farmers and then in response of that the violence happened. While the Union Minister contradicts the farmers statement and said that, his son was not present in that car nor in that place.
An FIR has been registered against the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra and several other persons in connection with the Lakhimpur violence that left eight people dead. Two FIRs have been registered but details of the sections under which the cases have been registered were not immediately known.
But the incident clearly showed or exposed the political parties where they smelled this incident and started trying to reach the place where there is already a massacre situation and police was under very high pressure. It was the right and duty of opposition parties to condemn the violence but these parties selected the dead bodies for grief. They showed their grief for farmers but didn’t spoke a single word for four others who were mob linched by the people assembled in large numbers. Most of the people showed their griefs on social media by posting justice for four farmers, Why this selection? violence is violence no matter from which side.
This may be because, the Farmers agitation has now become an epicentre of politics and every political party want to grab vote bank with the help of this agitation. But this incident also took farmer unions under big question as these unions are calling huge mobs to participate into agitation but who is accountable to control the mob. We saw this on various incidents, it may be 26th January last year or Lakhimpur incident.
The anger of people is increasing with the video of car smashing the farmers and riding on their bodies going viral. Government should answer to this chaos situation in the country just because of laws, govt is still taking it lightly, but this could become reason of some other big problems, especially for Punjab as it is a border state.
