J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: In order to make students aware about cyber crime and cyber fraud and also to make them ambassadors of awareness in rest of the society, Doda police on Wednesday organised a cyber crime awareness camp at Government Degree College Doda. The camp was organised on the directions of SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom with Deputy SP Jaswant Singh and other officers of police were resource person of the event.
The participating college students were made aware about different types of cyber crimes and cyber frauds and how to prevent them. Main focus was laid on unlawful acts and tactics of blackmailing through social media. The resource person of police also informed the participants that there are number of provision to deal with cyber crime but prevention is better than cure.
