Phagwara/Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News): Faculty of Hospitality at GNA University organised a Leadership Development Camp for the students of Hospitality. The Camp was lead forward under the supervision of Mr. Prince Verma, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Hospitality in collaboration with Vagabond’s Camp Manali, a group of Himalayan Vagabond Adventures.
The LDC was organised with a motto to give the students an overall holistic development ranging from discipline, punctuality, team work, leadership and physical ability, with a belief that these skills will assist them to be the part of a better professional career ahead. The students participated in various adventure activities under the supervision of the expert instructors and guides. Out of the entire batch of trainees for this leadership camp, a student- Mamta Kumari attained the best trainee award.
GNA wishes her and all the others, good luck for the forthcoming success in the events ahead of life. S. Gurdeep Singh, the Pro-Chancellor of the University applauded the efforts of the Hospitality department and expressed, “I wish all the trainees ultimate success in all their endeavours.” Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor said “The University is always there to impart quality education along with that offers hands on training to all its students.”
