Jalandhar (The Stellar News): In order to acknowledge the services of the labour class employees/ associates, Elite Towers Welfare Society (Regd.) distributed the Complete Branded Grocery Packages to all its workers on the occasion of International Labour Day on 1st May, 2022. The President of the Society Mr. Harman Preet Singh briefed that Hon’ble Sh. Avtar Singh Junior, MLA, Jalandhar North graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group, Jalandhar as the Guest of Honour. Hon’ble MLA distributed this Grocery Packages amongst the workers and appreciated this initiative of the Society and blessed the workers with his kind words. This Grocery Package comprised of all necessary items of daily use like Flour, Sugar, Tea, Pulses, Rice, Cooking Oil and many more. This package contributed in the livelihood of these labour class workers and met their daily needs.
Moreover, the workers felt highly obliged, encouraged and motivated by this activity. In addition to this, children of the Society performed various social activities conveying the message of social service. He briefed that the Managing Committee usually organize various social welfare activities for the colony members viz COVID Vaccination Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Cleanliness Drives and many more activities. During the function following Managing Committee Members of the Society were present: Mr. Vinay Kumar-General Secretary; Mr. Subhash Kaushik-Treasurer and Executive Members named Mr. Ved Kumar Bhatia, Mr. Narinder Gupta, Mr. Ashok Sehgal, Mr. Parduman Sharma, Mrs. Dimple Bhatia, Mr. Inder Mohan, Mr. Gaurav Arora, Mr. Rohit Verma, Mrs. Nidhi Mohan, Mrs. Nidhi Chaudhary.
