J&K/DODA (The Stellar News): In order to sought out the grievances of general public of Bhagwah regarding shifting of Tehsil office from main market Bhagwah to nearby village, SP Hqrs Doda along with Addl. Deputy Commissioner Doda visited Bhagwah took the stock of situation and identify the land/location for construction of new building for Tehsil complex. Tehsildar Bhagwah and In-charge Police Post Bhagwah were also present on the spot. During the process, 06 locations were visited along with 140-150 peoples of the area which includes PRIs etc. After threadbare discussion, Tehsildar Bhagwah was directed by the ADC Doda that proposal of these 06 locations after going through the pros and cons with revenue record as well as physical position, be submitted to ADC office Doda within weeks time for final disposal.
After that, SP Hqrs Doda hold a PCPG meeting with the public of the area in which 70-80 respectable of the area participated. During the course of meeting, the participants appreciated the role of Doda Police for conducting such meetings and outreach programs . SP Hqrs Doda stressed upon the people present in the meeting to co-operate and strengthen the hands of Police, so that the social crime, Drug abuse , illicit liquor etc be eradicated from the society. Again, under “OPERATION SANJEEVNI” the participants were requested by the SP Hqrs to extend a helping hands to the administration by providing information of those involved in drug smuggling so that the local youth must be kept away from the drugs abuse .
Besides above, the participants as well as business community of the area were asked to install CCTV cameras at their shops so that a close watch be maintained on criminals/thefts under “OPERATION 3RD EYE”. The participants were assured that District Police Doda is trying its best to curb the crime from the society and asked for more co-operation from public, so that a crime free atmosphere is build up in the area. Moreover, they were asked to maintain peace and communal harmony in the area.
