VICTORY FOR SIMARJEET SINGH MANN FROM SANGRUR, DEFEATS AAP CANDIDATE WITH 5822 VOTES

Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Lok Sabha seat Sangrur has witnessed a big change in politics, as Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) registered victory with 2 lakh 53 thousand 154 votes. Leaving the candidate of Aam Aadmi Party Gurmail Singh, Mann won with the margin of 5822 votes.

Two times MP from Punjab, first in 1989 and second in 1999 Simarjeet Singh Mann succeeded in registering his third win as MP. AAP Candidate got 243332 votes, Dalvir Goldy of Congress got 79668 votes, BJP Candidate Kewal singh dhillon received 66298 and Akali Dal Candidate managed to get 44428 votes.

This gave a big blow to newly formed AAP government as Bhagwant Mann won 2 consecutive times from Sangrur and went to Lok Sabha.
