ODISHA CONGRESS LEADER MOHAMMED MOQUIM VOTED FOR MURMU, CALLED IT “SOMETHING FOR THE SOIL”

Odisha (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Odisha Congress Leader Mohammed Moquim today went against his party by voting in support of Droupadi Mumu in Presidential Elections. On Monday, Indian Parliament leaders are polling to elect the Country’s 15th President of India.

Moquim said, “It’s my personal decision as I’ve listened to my heart, which guided me to do something for the soil and that’s why voted for her,” he said.

Droupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha are in fray for elections while Droupadi seems to get a clear win in elections. BJD, YSRCP, BSP, AIADMK, TDP, JD(S), Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena and JMM are suppose to vote for Murmu but there are reports that SAD abstains from voting and Shiv Sena voted for Yashwant Sinha.
