J&K/Doda (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: SP ops Doda Sh. Raj kumar JKPS held a PCPG Meeting under the guidance of SSP Doda Sh Abdul Qayoom JKPS, at village Majami in the jurisdiction of PS Dessa. The purpose of the meeting was to improve the police public relations and to work in close co-ordination to improve the security scenario, besides listening to their problems relating to Civil and Police administration.
The gathering in the meeting was about 70 including Sarpanches and Panches of Panchayat Manjmi. During the course of meeting, the participants appreciated the role of Doda Police for conducting such meetings and outreach programs. SP ops Doda stressed upon the people present in the meeting to co-operate and strengthen the hands of Police, so that the social crime, Drug abuse, illicit liquor etc be eradicated from the society. Again, under “OPERATION SANJEEVNI” the participants were requested by the SP Ops Doda to extend a helping hands to the administration by providing information of those involved in drug smuggling so that the local youth must be kept away from the drugs abuse.
Besides above, the participants as well as business community were asked that CCTV cameras be installed at their shops so that a close watch be maintained on criminals/thefts under “OPERATION 3RD EYE”. The participants were assured that District Police Doda is trying its best to curb the crime from the society and asked for more co-operation from public, so that a crime free atmosphere is build up in the area. Moreover, they were asked to maintain peace and communal harmony in the area. Besides other, IC SPP Majmi was also present in the meeting.
