Kargil (The Stellar News): In a small function at TFC Kargil, Sukhbir Singh Depot Manager British Paints Srinagar along with Murtaza Ali from Ladakh Build Mart and Anayat Ali General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association Anayat Ali, facilitated international Player Shahnaz Parveen for her selection for World University Games along with another player from Ladakh Tashi Tundup. Sukhbir Singh said that after the news of the selection of these young talent from Kargil came into our notice, our company decided to facilitate the players.
He further said that the company has decided to support Shahnaz Parveen with financial assistance for being the first women from Ladakh to get selected for World University Games. British Paints also thinks about the holistic development of the society with the progress of the company and in Ladakh the company has decided to support the development of Taekwondo Games which is the most known and progressive game of the Ladakh, he added.
Anayat Ali General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association thanked British Paints for continuing their time to time support to Ladakh Taekwondo under its CSR scheme. He said that along with painting the houses, the company is painting the future of Taekwondo Players in Ladakh. In is pertain to mention here that earlier this year, British Paints sponsored a team of 24 players of Taekwondo from Ladakh to participate in national level championship held at University of Kota Rajasthan who won one Gold, one Silver and one bronze medal. The financial support extended by British Paints has made the Ladakh Taekwondo Association capable of working hard to work for the benefit of the player as well as for the development of the Game.
