Now, Punjab State Power Corporation LTD has been launched an Energy saving facility under this UJALA scheme. The Energy Efficiency Services Limited (E.E.S.L) and a Joint Venture Companies PSUs under Ministry of Power contracted with PSPCL office, civil lines.
It is confirmed by the company’s representative that under this center government scheme, government is providing 10 LED (9 watt) bulbs to every PSPCL office in order to facilitate every family. People can purchase these LED bulbs with a cost of just Rs.70 per bulb that is very cheapest from the market rate i.e 150 per bulb. They provide these LED bulbs with proper bill and guarantee for three years. Government also providing Orient Company’s fans (4 fans of size 48”) in white and brown colors. Each fan’s cost under this scheme is Rs.1110 which is lower than the market value price that is approx. Rs.1600. Markets provide you only 6 months and 1 year guarantee, but Government provide you a guarantee for 2.5 years on fans as per the 3 years contract with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited under Ministry of Government of India (UJALA Scheme). Every citizen should avail the facility of this scheme as few people are aware about this scheme.
