J&K/RAJOURI (The Stellar News), Report-Anil Bhardwaj: As many as fifteen Long Range Area Domination Route Marches have been conducted by security forces across Rajouri district in last two days.
These route marches are part of heightened security arrangements in Rajouri district where elections for all five assembly constituencies will take place on September 25.
SSP Rajouri Randeep Kumar said that at all police station levels as well as police post levels, route marches have been conducted on Monday and Tuesday with officers and officials from police, Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs) and other forces participated in it.
In Nowshera sector area of Rajouri district, a such route march was conducted by JKP, CISF, SSB that was organised along Line of Control (LoC).
This march started from Jhangar chowk near Line of Control (LoC) and passed through Usman Memorial, Jhangar Chowk, Saryah chowk, Saryah village and ended at Saryah forward which is location location of human population and is located ahead of AIOS.
Additional SP Nowshera, Baljit Singh alongwith SHO Nowshera and I/C PP Bhawani with officers of SSB and CISF led this march.
In Rajouri main town, I/C PP Rajouri city alongwith SSB officers led a route march in town.
Similarly, another route march led by SHO Rajouri and officers of SSB has been carried out in Rajouri town areas.
Alongside, similar route marches have been taken out in other areas of Rajouri district including Thanamandi, Darhal, Kandi, Budhal, Kalakote, Dharamsal, Sunderbani, Manjakote.
