Petrol bomb is hurled at Bharatiya Janata Party office at Coimbatore, Tamil Naidu on Wednesday.

This incident comes after a statue of rationalist leader EV Ramasamy, popularly known as “periyar” was destroyed in Vellore on Tuesday. Two offenders were arrested for this damage. The statute of “periyar” was destroyed after a comment made by BJP leader H Raja that, “statue of “periyar” could be the next to dragged down after a Lennin statue was demolished in Tripura.
