Today, hundreds of students gathered around Jantar Mantar and protesting against re-examination of class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics papers.
Students raising slogans like, “stop playing hit and trail with our lives”.
Bhavika Yadav, a Class 10 student of St Thomas School, said, “We were shocked after hearing the news of the re-examination. Why should we suffer just because a handful of students got the leaked paper before the examination?”
“We have been under pressure right from the beginning of the session. We were relieved after giving the exam but it was just for one-and-a-half hours that we breathed the sigh of relief. Later we learnt from various news channels that we will have to appear for a re-examination which means studying the entire syllabus again,” she added.
