OSAKA (The Stellar News): Police in Osaka have arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting a female acquaintance.
According to police, Tsubasa Okada, who works at the Sunagawa High School for Special Needs Education, got into an argument with the 20-year-old woman, a part-time worker, at around 3 p.m. on Monday while they walking along a street in Naniwa Ward.
Okada grabbed the woman’s smartphone smashed it against the road and then kicked her once in the stomach, Sankei Shimbun quoted a witness as saying. The man who witnessed the fight called police who rushed to the scene.
Police said Okada has partially denied the charge, saying, “Although I did break her cell phone, I did not kick her in the stomach.”
