Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia- On Saturday, Center Government of India decided to waive all customs duty on oxygen, vaccines and oxygen related equipments. This decision will remain active for next three months. This decision has taken amid the corona crisis in India. Due to which country is facing scarcity of oxygen, vaccines and medicines in country.
This decision has taken at high level meeting chaired by Indian PM Narendra Modi. This meeting was organised to discuss measures to increase oxygen supply in country. After this decision PM ordered revenue department to waive customs duty on such equipments.
This decision was taken to establish seamless supply of oxygen and other medical equipments in country. As Indian government had decided to import oxygen and vaccines, this will help India to import seamlessly.
