Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In this fight to defeat the corona virus India has achieved a milestone, as on 21st June, 2021 India successfully administered highest number of vaccine doses. Vaccine became the only weapon to save lives of citizens in first as well as second wave, Centre Government focuses on increasing the pace of vaccination.
On the first day to administer free Covid vaccines to all above 18 announced by Centre government, Indian government successfully managed to administer 86.16 lakh vaccines. After this milestone Indian toll of partially vaccinated people reached to 28.87cr and fully vaccinated touched 5.06cr people.
On Monday, each Indian state administered all time high number of people since the start of vaccination drive. After this, many states urged Centre to maintain the supply of vaccine doses so that they can pursue vaccination drive with this pace.
As per the Centre government claims, the vaccines production is to increase in the month of July as Covishield production will increase to 60-70 million doses per month in July while the Covaxin production will hike to its double in the month of August.
