Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In recent days, some new cases of corona virus are witnessing the evidences of delta plus variant which is more lethal than all previous variants. As this variant is more transmissible and adversely affect the body, so government is focusing on controlling the variant before it reach the whole country.
In the recent updates from Centre Government and Union Health Authorities, the new variants are more lethal so they have to handle very cautiously. The health ministry says the Delta plus variant, first found in India in April, has been detected in around 40 samples from six districts in three states – Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh. At least 16 of these samples were found in Maharashtra, one of the states hardest hit by the pandemic.
Delta plus has also been found in nine other countries – USA, UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, Poland, Nepal, Russia and China – compared to the original highly contagious Delta strain, which has now spread to 80 countries.
Till now, patients of Delta Plus Variant are found in 12 States of India and is increasing day by day. But the good news is that many vaccine companies like Astrazeneca, Pfizer and Bharat-Biotech claimed that their vaccines are effective against the Delta plus variant.
