Despite of the tussle between centre and Mamta Banerjee on many issues, including transfer of Alapan Bandyopadhyay, violence after Assembly Elections, shifting of many leaders to BJP as well as in TMC and Mamta Banerjee’s loss in Nandigram.
But Mamta Banerjee maintaining the tradition started by Mamta Banerjee started in 2011, when she first time took oath as the West Bengal CM.
Besides the PM Modi, CM Mamta sends mangoes to President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
