Chairman DDC Rajouri visited law bowali, emphasised on need for tourism infrastructure in the district.

J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News) Anil Bhardwaj: Chairman District Development Council Rajouri today visited law bowali in Plangarh area of thanamandi and assessed the need for infrastructure development. A large number of people from the surrounding hamlets including sarpanch and Panches of Panchayat halqa Law accompanied the chairman during the visit and apprised about the developmental lacunas in the area including the need for augmenting water supply to the area, provision of connectivity to the uncovered areas and also the urgency to clear the work done liability of tribal model village law. The Chief Executive officer, Rajouri Dev Authority apprised the chairman that land measuring over 34 Kanal was acquired for raising infrastructure and for other allied purposes in the vicinity of Bowali.

While speaking on the occasion DDC member thanamandi Abdul Qayoom Mir announced the construction of a Community Sanitary Complex near the Bowali for sanitation purposes out of SBM grants. While emphasising on the historical importance of the Bowali impressed upon the officials of RDA to prepare a DPR for raising infrastructure at the site and also directed CEO RDA to prepare DPR alongwith complete case record file for raising a Tourist Reception Center at Lah. While responding to the demands, the chairman resolved to take up the matter of lapsed fund with the concerned quarters and assured that the liability of poor mates will be cleared at an earliest. The chairman was accompanied by DDC member thanamandi Abdul Qayoom Mir, CEO RDA, Inspector Panchayat Block Plangarh Abdul Razaq and others.
