Maharashtra (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Union minister Narayan Rane has been arrested for his Slap remark against the Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackrey. Union minister in an event for the made a remark of a “tight slap”, that he had claimed, Thakrey’s ignorance over the number of years of India’s independence.

Rane was arrested by the Ratnagiri Police and taken into custody from Sangameshwar. Earlier, rane had approached the Bombay high court, seeking protection from the arrest, after two FIR’s were filed against him.
A clash between the BJP and Shivsena workers also broke out when the Shivsena workers marched towards Rane’s residence.
