DEMOLISHED MY FATHER-IN-LAW HOUSE FOR MAKING ROAD: NITIN GADKARI

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham kalia: Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari said that he once demolished his father-in-law for making road without telling his wife. He asserted that leaders should not act as obstacle in development projects.

“Many years ago, my father-in-law’s house was demolished to make a road. I did not tell my wife before the demolition. That’s how it should be. Leaders should not be impediments in progress,” Gadkari was quoted as saying by PTI. 

He also stated that, “Mai fokat class ka samarthan nahi karta”. As gadkari is known for his frank statements, so speaking on the demand from certain class for relief from toll tax, he said that he doesn’t support those who seek things for free and that the practice must be stopped.

He also inspected that progress of expressway. Minister tweeted that, “Inspected the progress of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at Ratlam, MP in the presence of Shri Sudheer Gupta ji, MP Mandsour, Shri Guman Singh Damor Ji, MP Ratlam, Shri @bjpanilfirojiya ji, MP Ujjain. We are constructing 245 km of the expressway in the state, worth 11,100 crores.”
