Delhi ( The Stellar News ): PM Modi will inaugurate a three day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam at Varanasi tomorrow, July 7,2022. This Samagam is organised by the Ministry of Education with the association of University of Grant Commission and Banaras Hindu University. Around 300 Vice Chancellors and Directors from both public and private universities, policy makers, educationist and even industrial representatives will be brought together in this 3 day summit to discuss how the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 can taken further around the country after a few successful initiatives in the last two years. UP CM Yogi Aditiyanath along with Anandiben Patel and Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister will also be there.
This summit will provide a platform for leading Indian Higher Educational Institutions to further discuss the strategies, insights and initiatives like Academic Bank of Credit, Multiple Entry Exit, Multi disciplinary and Flexibility in higher education with the aim of improving online and distant learning and revising the National Curriculum so that it can match the steps with Global education standards, promoting the multilingual aspects and Indian Knowledge system and making both the parts of the curriculum, developing educational skills. Many universities are on board with new aspects of the education policy and but there are still many that are yet to adapt with the new system.
In this three day summit discussions will be held on the topics such as Holistic Education, Skill Development, International Education, Digital Empowerment. The main highlight of the summit will be the adoption of Varanasi Declaration on Higher Education which will showcase India’s extended sight and new commitment to achieve the goals of higher education.
