The Assam State District Management Authority (ASDMA) in its flood report stated that Cachar district is the worst hit with more than 5 lakh flood victims, while Nagaon and Morigan have 1,56,731 and 1,51,842 flood victims respectively. Central government has released Rs. 324.40 crore as advance share of State District Response Fund (SDRF).
