WRESTLERS TO THROW THEIR MEDALS IN GANGA RIVER TODAY, SIT ON HUNGER STRIKE AT INDIA GATE

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Indian wrestlers who were protesting at the Jantar Mantar against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Bhushan sharan singh over sexual harassment allegations say that they will throw their medals in the river ganga in Haridwar at 6 pm on Tuesday and then sit on an indefinte hunger strike at Indian Gate in New Delhi.

Wrestlers who have made country proud on many national and international platforms are struggling to find any space of justice for them.

On 28th May, wrestlers were thrashed and detained by the Delhi Police when they were marching towards to the new parliament building where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and political leaders were present to inaugurate the new parliament of India.

Wrestlers also alleged Delhi Police for thrashing, manhandling and making their private videos. FIR was also lodged against the wrestlers.
