The Stellar News- After the murder of Harshita Dahiya a folk singer, Haryana again trapped in another murder case of a folk singer Mamta Sharma in Rohtak. She found dead in the fields of Baniyani village, Rohtak on Thursday, with a long and narrow cut on her neck with a sharp weapon.
She was missing from Sunday,14 January. According to her family, she left home on 14 Jan with her co- artist named Mohit Kumar to attend a programme in Gohana’s Gaushala. After sometime, her associate Mohit Kumar informed at her home and confirmed that she joined to the other group in another car by assuring that she will be back after sometime. But she didn’t come back and her phone was switched off after some time. Then the family reported to the Police. But her family had continuously trying to call on her mobile phone. On Monday her phone did ring but family didn’t get any response from her side.
After 4 days, her dead body was found in the fields of Baniyani village of Rohtak Distt on Thursday. According to her family members, Mamta Sharma’s phone was switched on for 58 hours after Monday’s morning but police was unable to trace it. Her associate has been arrested by police as a suspect, because she was left with him to attend the programme before missing. Now, Police continuously interrogating him in order to solve the case and get the culprit.
