This valentine’s day was perfect for Pramodini, as, 25-year-old acid attack victim Pramodini got engaged with her friend Saroj Shau on this Valentine’s day.
She was attacked by her lover in 2009 in Odisha, as she denied his proposal. In that acid attack, she was burnt upto 80% and even lost her eyes.
According to Pramodini’s statement, she was introduced to Shau, when she was admitted in a private hospital. Shau is a medical representative by profession. Shau was very helpful and dedicated towards Pramodini during her treatment.
On January 5, 2016, when she came to Delhi for proper medical treatment and left Odisha, shau realized her meaning in his life. Then he proposed her for marriage. In the beginning, Pramodini was worried, that they never live a normal life because of her condition. But due to shau’s support and dedication they got engaged on Wednesday.
