The Stellar News : Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram was arrested by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday morning, as he was alleged for a money laundering case.

In May 2017,Enforcement Directorate logged a complaint against Karti which relates to irregularities in the grant of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance to INX media, when P Chidambaram was the union finance minister.
CBI also conducted searches at the house and offices of Mr. Chidambaram across four cities. However, Karti denied the charges made against him.
