A passenger plane crashes at Nepal’s Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The plane was headed by US-Bangla, a Bangladeshi Airline.

49 people were killed in this incident. According to recent reports, this accident took place due a confusion over runway. The last four minutes of the conversation between the pilot and Air Traffic Control at the airport indicates a possible confusion in the mind of the pilot about Runway 02 (the southern end) and Runway 20 (the northern end.
