A very miserable incident occurred in Basti Jodhewal area of Ludhiana, where a six-year-old girl was rapped and then murdered on Wednesday morning.

The accused is identified as Bablu Pandit (40). The victim girl was missing from Tuesday and her body was found near her house on Wednesday morning around 7:00 am.
The body of victim girl was sent to Civil Hospital for Post Mortem. The reports revealed that she was raped before murder. The case has been registered against Pandit under Section 302 (Murder) and 376 (Rape) of IPC.
