UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was at Shimla along with her daughter Priyanka Vadra. Sonia Gandhi was rushed to Chandigarh PGI last night as her health turned worsened.

Senior doctors and related staff were deployed at the emergency and the security in the PGI was increased. Sonia Gandhi had been staying with the daughter Priyanka Vadra for two days in Hotel Wild Flower Hall in Chhairabad, 13 km from Shimla city. Doctors said that it may be that due to sustained travel.
